Technology We’ve developed a mobile, voice-accessible platform to reach the broadest segment of worker-users. Pilot We have live operations, delivering services to and pulling data from female garment workers in Bangalore, India.

Team
We’ve gathered a dynamic team to make our mission a reality. Our CEO comes from a labor rights and CSR position at the US State Department, after a Ph.D. in semiconductor physics. Our CTO is a long-time Silicon Valley veteran, and former VP for global operations at Red Hat. We have social scientists on our impacts and evaluation team, a software development veteran heading our product development efforts, and a wide variety of expertise from international business to public health. We’re always looking for more talented, passionate team members—especially developers!— and volunteers.

LaborVoices has won a variety of awards, including the Vator Splash 2011 Competition, the Rainmakers 2011 Award and membership among only 16 social enterprises in the prestigious 2011 Hub Ventures Cohort.
